I would suggest reading the books in order. Check out [Natalie the Dragon Rider 6th Grade]. If you wish to skip, there is nothing saying you can’t, but… This series is better read in order even if I prefer making them standalones.
Lady Natalie Verde has a lot sitting before her as she goes into the first year of high school. As a Dragon Rider- and future dragon- she must conquer the spell groups of fire and flight. What dragon cannot breathe fire or fly? None, so she must learn.
While figuring out fire and flight, Natalie seeks more about her planar blood. This is while her family seeks her. Not only does her unknown planar family seek her, but her dragon family seeks her too. Her father, Jacob Verde has a big family.
All this has to happen while she’s growing up into an adult. She’ll only turn fourteen this year, and it seems everyone wants to greet her as this special person. Natalie’s more afraid she’ll poison her best friend again. At least her dragon family would not easily succumb to her losing control. Should she really hold off on meeting her family? Both sides of them?
